Tasting Notes: Bright garnet red color with slight orange reflections. Refined and ample aromas of violet, plum, cherry, berries, mint, dried flowers, tea leaves, blonde pipe tobacco, and cloves emerge from the glass. Harmonious, flavorful, and persistent taste, with pleasant freshness that blends with dense but elegant tannins.
Food Pairings: DOCG red wine, perfect to pair with pasta dishes with meat sauce, risotto with meat, roasted and grilled meat, game, and aged cheeses.
Serving Suggestions: We recommend serving this Barbaresco wine at a temperature of 18-20°C with at least 1-2 hours of decanting. Use a large glass, ideal for red wines with good structure and intensity.
Winery: Le Tenute Cisa Asinari dei Marchesi di Grésy, owned by the di Grésy family since 1797, was established as a wine estate in 1973 by Alberto di Grésy. The vineyards are located between the Langhe and Monferrato, renowned and representative areas for wine production in Piedmont.
