For many years, Valdobbiadene Prosecco sparkling wine was known only as Extra Dry due to its natural sweetness and residual sugar. Today, with Bortolomiol's traditional line offering various interpretations of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Docg, the number “II” on the cap indicates that it is the second in terms of sweetness, from driest to sweetest, while the name Senior recalls its original status.
