Bushmills Original Irish Whiskey Triple Distilled 70cl

Description

AT THE ORIGIN OF WHISKEY

Legend has it that Saint Patrick , upon returning from a trip to Egypt, brought a strange device back to Ireland, the alembic , which was used for the production of perfumes; the Irish, a shrewd, far-sighted people who loved good drinking, immediately converted it to the production of distillates from barley and malt. Thus, Whiskey was born. There Old Bushmills , one of the oldest distilleries in Ireland, has an equally centuries-old tradition: with the official royal license for distillation, granted to County Antrim , which dates back to 1608, is considered the oldest in the country. Bushmills Original Whiskey is made from grain whiskey matured for at least five years, before being blended with malt whiskey and distilled three times in Pot Stills.

Full gold in colour, it releases fruity and dried floral aromas, enveloped in notes of hydrocarbon, barley candy, cardamom and salty hints. Warm, enveloping and a little spicy on the palate, it has a beautiful spicy and mineral persistence.

Drink neat or diluted with fresh water.
