Destiny comes uninvited and does not take off its hat, in the history of our winery it is true twice since destiny actually took off its gloves and put down the suitcase: it was a woman capable of recognizing in the minimal voice of the bulk wines of the South of 'Italy, a much larger concert.
The name of this woman, Teresa Manara, is the whole essence and keystone of a family passion, the sense of the art of winemaking and of all the harvests experienced by the generations that have taken turns, just as they do the actors of a work repeated several times and which has become a classic, on a mother earth when the seasons turn, like human lives, into one another. Therefore, Teresa Manara is not just the name of a Chardonnay and a Negroamaro, but a watershed of memory, the loving homage to the woman, the mother, the wife, the inspiring muse and the grandmother.
Teresa Manara crossed the Italy of the years in which businesses were still reserved for men, with a temperament which today imbues the most important selections of Chardonnay and Negroamaro signed, in the nineties, by her son Augusto Cantele.
