From the silver sea of ​​olive trees, from the white stones of midday, from the luminous secrets of the laces, from the languid invitations of baroque palaces, comes Edda, a feminine grape, of mineral and eternal temper, an ineffable fruit in a land of suggestions.

San Marzano wineries AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS BY YEAR

Grape varieties: Mainly Chardonnay with native white grape varieties.
Area: San Marzano, Salento, Puglia. About 100 meters above sea level.
Ground: Shallow depth and medium-fine texture.
Cultivation: Guyot (4,500 vines per hectare).
Harvest: Second ten days of August.
Winemaking: The grapes are destemmed and left in cryomaceration for a few hours. The next phase is the soft pressing of the pomace followed by cold static decantation so that it occurs naturally. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in French oak barriques.
Refinement: On the yeasts in French oak barriques for 4 months with weekly batonnage.
Organoleptic characteristics: Colour: straw yellow with golden reflections; persuasive floral hints of citrus fruits and then delicate vanilla pervade the nose; on the palate it is opulent in its elegance, fresh, delicate and mineral.
