Produced in England, Bulldog Gin was launched in 2006 and, thanks to its attractive look, has caught the attention of both the public and critics. Sophisticated and complex, it is the product of four distillations, carried out using a discontinuous copper pot still, and is purified by three filtration cycles, to best enhance its aromatic characteristics.
It is the first gin to combine exotic ingredients, such as poppy seeds, dragon eye (a Chinese fruit similar to lychee), and lotus leaves, with other botanicals, such as juniper, almonds, and lemon. A new and different taste, to be savoured as a base for numerous cocktails, to which it will impart a particular tropical flavour.
Bright and transparent, it presents an aroma of white flowers, jasmine, and lily of the valley, along with citrusy hints of lime and sweeter, toasted notes of hazelnut and almond, as well as slight mineral sensations. The taste impact expresses juniper and the freshness of aromatic herbs, as well as vegetal sensations of cut grass and notes of crisp white fruits, along with hints of lavender, for a floral and warm finish.
