The Second World War had just ended when Sabina Marzadro , after having spent several years serving in the house of a politician in Rome, decided to return home, in that Brancolino di Nogaredo , a small town in the province of Trento with the specific intention of changing your life. Her dream was to become a good distiller and so it was, together with her brother they began to distill the first pomace and sell the brandy at reasonable prices to make themselves known. From there shortly, go into a bar and ask for a glass of Marzadro it had become a must and, even today, their grappas are synonymous with great quality! There very old grappa 18 Moons di Marzadro is a pomace brandy obtained from the distillation of some of the best-known varieties of Trentino: Merlot, Marzemino, Teroldego, Chardonnay and Moscato , aged for 18 months, approximately a year and a half, gives intense, ethereal and elegant aromas.
Amber coloured, it smells of cherries in alcohol and raisins, vanilla, tobacco and dried fruit. On the palate it is warm and dry, harmonious and with a long woody finish.
Perfect as after dinner, smooth, served at around 12°C, it will also be a worthy accompaniment to a Tuscan cigar.
