Mezcal Los Danzantes 70cl

This Espadín from the Los Danzantes company is obtained from the Espadin variety of agave. In the sixth-eighth year of the plant's life, the heart is preserved and cooked, after cutting off the leaves, head and roots. In particular, the piña is cooked in a deep hole dug in the ground and covered with stones. Subsequently, the mixture is left to ferment in oak containers, and then undergoes a double distillation process.
It has an unusual and original nose, composed of basil, lemon, iodine and fruit. Toasted notes complete the olfactory bouquet, while the taste is savory but soft, and at the same time full, clear and characterized by references to lavender and agave juice. Excellent length, with a woody and smoky finish.
