Don Papa rum takes its name from Papa Isio , great revolutionary hero who played a crucial role in the war of liberation of the Philippines from Spanish domination, endowed with legendary energy and indomitable spirit. This rum, entirely produced, aged and bottled on the island of, is inspired by these important qualities Negros , the most important sugar cane production area in the entire Philippines, a splendid island that thanks to its volcanic soil produces one of the fullest and sweetest cane sugars in the world. From very limited production and aged for at least 7 years old , Don Papa rum was launched in the Philippines in 2012 and immediately began to attract the interest of all the major Western markets, from the United States to Europe.

Slightly amber in colour, very bright, on the nose it reveals light and fruity sensations of quince and dates, together with spicy notes of vanilla, toasted hazelnut and milk chocolate, with hints of honey. The taste is soft, delicate, extraordinarily rounded and very long in the persistence of apple jam.

Superb combined with cola, or in a daiquiri.
