RUM DON PAPA RYE AGED LIMITED EDITION

We present to you the new limited edition packaging of Don Papa, which thus combines the rich and sweet character of Philippine Rum with the magic and poetry of the American Prohibition era, when in the 1920s most whiskeys were produced with Rye, a predominantly rye base. Don Papa Rye Aged Rum has a beautiful golden color, the result of the union between the green rye fields of the United States and the fresh sea breeze of the Philippines, a mix that gives the distillate the sweet notes characteristic of molasses, but also spicy hints , vegetal and intense aging, carried out in ex-American Rye Whiskey barrels. The final result is a rum with dry and spicy notes, which leaves hints of honey and pepper on the palate, with a very delicate finish tending towards apple and with a slightly savory note due to the wood of the ex-rye barrels.
