Attanasio's Primitivo di Manduria Dop ages in steel and barriques, some new and some previously used.
It has an intense ruby red color with purple reflections. The nose predominantly expresses notes of red and black fruits.
Soft tannins and high alcohol content ensure excellent balance, with a long, persistent finish of spirits-soaked fruit. It is a decidedly full-bodied wine yet boasts great formal cleanliness and elegance.
