Attanasio's Primitivo di Manduria PDO ages in steel tanks and in barriques, some new and some used multiple times.
It has an intense ruby red color with purplish reflections. The nose is predominantly expressed with notes of red and black fruits.
Soft tannins and a high alcohol content ensure excellent balance, with a long and persistent finish of fruit preserved in spirits. It is a full-bodied wine, yet with great formal clarity and elegance.
